this was on our fridge for months. my mother said this explained my entire childhood and her attempt to parent me.

We had to hide the book we had with this in it when our young son was growing up, so he would not emulate Calvin.
I’m still waiting for you to return my chicken suit, dog and wooden spoon. I’ts been over a year. What are you doing?
Yup, that was me as well. In fact, my mother still has the coffee table and enjoys telling guests that I put all the holes in the top one day when I discovered how hammer and nails worked… which is not exactly the truth because I distinctly recall practicing on the outside of the house first.
